Jill Bourque

Jill Bourque is a stand-up comedian, improvisor, and producer. She created the international hit improv show How We First Met in 2001 which has played in San Francisco, and other cities worldwide, each year for Valentine’s Day. This year she taught the unique format in Norway.

She is also the producer and star of the annual quirky stand-up and music show Not Your Normal New Year’s Eve in San Francisco. She’s especially proud to have produced and performed hundreds shows at the legendary Purple Onion from 2006 through 2012.

Jill has performed in clubs, festivals, and theaters all over the world. Credits include Marines’ Memorial Theatre, The Plush Room, Bay Area Theatresports, Eureka Theater, Liquid Soap, Crystal Cruises, SF Sketchfest, Chicago Improv Festival, Los Angeles Improv Festival, and San Franciso Improv Festival.

She is a regular on KGO radio’s “Headliner on the Headlines” with Brian Copeland. Jill can be seen doing an improvised wedding on TV on TLC’s “Four Weddings” and giving the funny low-down on parenting on Scripp’s new interactive online network, ulive.com.
